YOSEMITE
This series was inspired by my week as guest artist in Yosemite National Park this May. As much as I love abstract painting, there's something deeply satisfying in the challenge of capturing the majestic beauty of a truly epic location. I usually leave the site feeling like I haven't done it justice. But every now and then I catch the big one and it makes all my efforts worthwhile.
